"Overall good stay, bed is comfortable and breakfast is good. Strong smell of Indian food in the hallway, old, not clean looking carpet in the room and bathroom faucets do not look clean, shower gel bottle was empty, no tissues. Hotel was ranked 8.6 and I would give it more like 7.6. It was quiet. Windows do not open as in most hotels now days, taking away our choice to breathe fresh air."

"The only thing that was not perfect about the hotel and our room was the main door in the room. The paint was half missing. It made it look like someone had been trapped in the room and couldn't get out."

"Check in was an issue with payment not going through. Receptionist was very good and in the end transaction was processed - she was very patient. Nice to have a bath as these are rare these days. Room was clean and tidy. Cleaner came to offer to clean the room but he wasn't required."
