Glamping in Brooklyn

"The staff was couterous and professional. The general manager was in the dining room and went out of his way to talk to the guest and to make sure their stay was satisfactory. The cleaning staff did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and well stocked. I am always grateful to have breakfast included in the hotel rate. The food was good-you cant expect fine dining, but it was plentiful and had a variety choices. The staff in the dining room, kept everything well stocked. One the last day of my stay, the breakfast was the best. The potatoes, eggs, and sausage were cooked very well. The room was a little too warm for me but I guess thats better than being too cold. I would have liked some type of soap dish for the bar soap on the sink. The room is small but for me & spouse it was okay, can't image more than 2 adults in a room. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. It was a great location for us because it was close to our daughters house so we could walk it to her apt. I would stay there again. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner at Laser Wolf (rooftop restaurant). The only negative to the hotel experience is the hotel lobby. It is beautiful and we would have loved to hang out and enjoy a drink and the scenery, however teleworkers and squatters (free WiFi) have taken over the space. Every person there takes up a table for 2 or 4 people and the couches. Laptops on every table. These are not guests of the hotels. I’m surprised the hotel allows it. A majority didn’t even have a cup of coffee or drink from the bar. "
