“The beautifully decorated B &B felt curated. Decorated with love and care. Bravo. Our fourth floor room was wonderful- but a little too challenging for carrying bags up the stairs! Narrow and steep. There was lemonade to be made from lemons - there was a beautiful, large terrace exclusively for us. Manuela was exceptionally helpful. She sat down and mapped all the charms of Ortigia. Her weekend replacement was lovely. The B & B offers a wonderful breakfast for 10 euros. Enough for 2. ”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but closed inside gated place. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit! ”

“This hotel is really a gem. It is close to all attraction, the staff is so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was big and comfortable. The only thing that bothered us is an automatic light that was turning on at night from the mini bar station in the room on your way to the bathroom. The staff was really helpful and deactivated that light when ask. To access the hotel with a car it is tricky because you have to drive in a narrow pedestrian type of street. That being said it is very well……

“ The hotel staffer is nice, very helpful and we can communicate with each other in English. The hotel is close to train station and town centre but it takes a little time to locate it. The hotel sign board is quite small and not so easy to identify. There is an Asian restaurant next to the hotel which I enjoy having food there. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the building and there is no elevator. I appreciate and thank that the hotel staffer gives me a helping hand to deliver luggage……

“The property is very convenient for visits at the Megapolis archeological park (5/10 mins walk) and the island of Ortigia (30 mins). The host has been superfriendly and provided lots of useful recommendations for must see and restaurants in Syracuse.”

“The Nostos B&B is located in an old building, the conditions of which are not so appealing. The inside, however, is well docorated and the condition of the room is of very high standard. The location is midway between the railway station and old town, walking time to either is about 10 minutes. The archeological site is also walkable, at a greater distance about 20 minutes away. The inclusive breakfast is served in the restaurant of a nearby bontique hotel. The buffet breakfast is of very high……

“This was a great place to stay. The location is terrific. In a really nice part of the island with lots to see and do. The staff was extremely helpful. The building has ultra security. If you are driving your car it is difficult to find as the street names are non existent but once you get there it is very comfortable. ”
