On highway 93 a few miles before the Chloride turnoff, you'll find an abandoned junk yard full of amazing automobiles. As much as I loved looking at all the cars, what really caught my eye amongst all this automobile decay, were what looked like gourds and watermelon growing across the ground. The hills above Chloride Az, Roy Purcell's "The Journey" painted in 1966. #roadtrip You will need a 4 wheel drive to get to these or hike the 1 mile and a half. The wilderness above these murals is beautiful, wild flowers and wild horses
#TroveOn Wild Horses, wild flowers, abandoned mines..... You will need a 4 wheel drive to get through but worth it. It will take the good part of your day. Stop and check out the town of Chloride too
