On highway 93 a few miles before the Chloride turnoff, you'll find an abandoned junk yard full of amazing automobiles. As much as I loved looking at all the cars, what really caught my eye amongst all this automobile decay, were what looked like gourds and watermelon growing across the ground. Life always finds a way.

The hills above Chloride Az, Roy Purcell's "The Journey" painted in 1966. #roadtrip You will need a 4 wheel drive to get to these or hike the 1 mile and a half. The wilderness above these murals is beautiful, wild flowers and wild horses
#TroveOn Wild Horses, wild flowers, abandoned mines..... You will need a 4 wheel drive to get through but worth it. It will take the good part of your day. Stop and check out the town of Chloride too

Quaint, historic property with a cool vibe. Restaurant has rather limited hours and not open for breakfast Monday morning when I left. Room is well equipped, but the ceiling fan was broken, and the fridge door wouldn't close, so, didn't try to use either.

The property wasn't what we thought. To start we had to wait an hour while it rained to get in. She didnt have our keys ready. The place was not secluded. I had some weird neighbor come and talk to me about whether I had permission to have a fire. The google map took us down this 5 mile dirt road. ...
