The long view. From the road above Bernard's Well farm the eye can encompass a large swathe of Pembrokeshire including, left, the top end of Llys-y-fran reservoir 398366, right, the huge radio/TV mast at Woodstock 57292, and straight ahead in the distance the oil refineries at Milford Haven.

Clarbeston Road railway station photo survey (6) Looking east from the road bridge at Clarbeston Road station towards Clarbeston Road Junction (see below). Clarbeston Road railway station is on the West Wales line from Swansea to Pembrokeshire. Immediately west of the station, the line divides at Clarbeston Road Junction, one branch serving the ferry terminal at Fishguard, the other serving Haverfordwest and Milford Haven. The station is managed by Arriva Trains Wales who operate most of the passenger services. Arriva runs an hourly service from Manchester Piccadilly as far Carmarthen: this service is extended to Clarbeston Road, Haverfordwest and Milford Haven every two hours. There are usually two services each day to Fishguard to coincide with ferry sailings to Ireland.

Wow what a transformation Imperial Hotel has had. So impressive love the new design of the hotel it is so modern and so bright. Stayed in apartment 5 ‘The Firs’, thoroughly happy with the amenities, space (it’s big!) and quiet location. Plenty of space to relax for the family and a dog. Good location to explore, Pembroke walkable and local beaches a short drive away. Would stay again for sure. Communications excellent
