"I was looking for a place for me and my 70 dog, Monkee, that was centrally located for some sightseeing in Monterey and Salinas, and I found it! Nestled between pine trees, Longhorn Steer (yes, you read that right), and lush greenery is a beautiful oasis. The place was clean, well-stocked and the large bed was comfy. Irene and Gary are wonderful hosts! I plan on sharing this secret hideaway with some friends of mine that are planning trips up the California coast. I will definitely stay here...

"This hidden gem is adorable. I took my daughter and four friends to celebrate her 18th birthday. The main room fit them perfect. They enjoyed the spa which was set in a magical garden. Windell and Marianne went above and beyond to make the weekend magical. Hope to stay here again!"

"My stay at Mary’s home was fantastic. Not only was Mary a great host that is always available, but her house was also gorgeous, tidy, and incredibly convenient in its location and accessibility. "We had an amazing time on our family vacation to Carmel. The Pocket residence was in a perfect location walking distance to everything. The apartment was beautiful, welcoming and very comfortably accommodated our immediate and extended family members to be a central hub to hang out the entire duration of our stay. Everyone enjoyed the golf simulator and accompanying games as well! So fun!"

"This is a very cozy cottage with lots of outdoor spaces to take in the views. The host that lives next door has an extensive garden with hummingbird feeders all over. Also, there is no traffic around. It is very peaceful! The bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but you didn't need it! Although, the space heaters did a great job heating it up in the cool mornings. The only negative, if you plan to do ANY cooking the kitchen is bare bones. There are not a lot of things in the...

"Our hosts were very accommodating from the start with our request for slightly early check in. Sorry for the trouble 🙂. We found the place had many unexpected conveniences like updated appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, compactor, etc) and more than enough supplied linens, towels etc. than we ever needed for for our 1 week stay. Super clean and the bed was comfortable too. They’re many special touches by like live plants and decorations made it feel like home to us. So, just what we needed...
