"The property itself is beautiful. However, getting to most restaurants, the national park, or other places in town outside the property requires a car, taxi or use of the resort shuttle. The staff was incredibly helpful though in arranging for taxis or using the hotel shuttle to drop us off at restaurants on the way to their scheduled stops at the national park."

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"Wonderful property! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I liked walking the trails and the swimming pool is very warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. It's also just a very short walk into town where we ended up having all of our meals and there is a nice supermarket there as well. Everything was very convenient. We were a little disappointed that there was no mini fridge in the room. "

"Wow, what an amazing holiday. The hotel was fabulous, right on the beach and very quiet. The villa was huge with our own plunge pool and amazing sea view. The staff were so friendly and helpful - We speak no Spanish but the staff mostly spoke good English and also taught us a few words of Spanish too.
