Sister to the Oyster Cottage (wheelchair accessible, vrbo#3508084). Cute, cozy, and comfortable…..Enjoy the convenience of our city center Pelican Cottage in the heart of Crawfordville. We love pets, but we’re not accepting pets at this time. St. Marks, Shell Point, and Panacea are just south, and St. George/Apalachicola are one hour west. Tallahassee is 30 minutes north.
Zap Zap Thai Kitchen, Taste of Mexico, and Subway are across the street, and Myra Jean's, Lex & Roll, and the Breakfast Station are just a short drive. If you love coffee like we do, try Atlas, Brewed by the Dude, or Wild Ox. They each are excellent in unique ways and serve locally roasted coffee. Please enjoy seasonal Meyer lemons, kumquats, blueberries, crab apples, pears, persimmons, & figs from the orchard.
Paddle the spring fed Wakulla River from TNT canoe rental 15 minutes southeast or visit Wakulla Springs State Park for a step back in time. St. Marks Wildlife Refuge and Lighthouse are also close by and a popular saltwater fishing spot. Cool off swimming in beautiful clear Emerald Sink off Lighthouse Road.

Everything we wanted, more than we needed
My 8/10 year old children and I stayed at the Pelican Cottage for 7 days/6 nights during Spring Break. The hosts communicated well before hand and made us feel so welcome. The kids enjoyed the mini golf course in the yard and the corn hole boards. The location could not have been better. Great coffee shop right around the corner, sushi & thai food directly across the street within walking distance. We enjoyed St. George Island and Shell Point beach during our stay. The cottage was super clean, and the host even had a cold beer in the fridge and waters for the kids upon our arrival. The cottage looks super cute, well decorated, and made me feel at home on the forgotten coast of Florida. 10/10 and we will definitely be back next year. Thanks Kevin and Rena for an unforgettable vacation destination, we all loved it.

Wonderful cottage that is charming and well maintained
This older cottage is in immaculate condition, well outfitted with great wifi, television, and kitchen. The owners were very attentive and concerned that everything in our visit was satisfactory and delivered beyond expectations. It is the little details that count the most, and they covered each and every one of them down to games to play and books to read. We will definitely be booking again in the future when we come down to visit family.

Stayed at Pelican Cottage while spending time with our FSU student. The cottage was adorable, spotless, and conveniently located to awesome outdoor activities. I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at the Pelican Cottage. This is our second stay and won't be our last. The hosts have put every detail into making your stay enjoyable. The home is quaintly decorated, well stocked and very clean! The hosts are very helpful and are genuinly interested in you enjoying the propery and area. It's very close to Wakula springs, nice hiking trails within Leon Geological Park and Tallahassee. You wont regret your decision while enjoying your morning coffee on the adirondack chairs on the front porch.

Wonderful Cottage
We are locals to Crawfordville and booked the cottage for guest in town for the weekend. They loved the cottage - it was exactly as represented - it has everything you need plus some. Charming cottage with SUPER hosts!
The warmth and feel of being at my grandmother’s home decades ago with all the modern conveniences. Could not have asked for more! Location is perfect. Walk or drive to restaurants, close to beaches and shopping. We stayed twice during our transition from NC to crawfordville and will recommend to friends and family. Crawfordville is growing, but this renovated cottage was perfect for being close to family and giving it a coming-home feeling. Clean, convenient, and mostly quiet - only heard a little traffic noise. Excellent AC and kitchen supplies.

Located in the heart of town and we felt the warmth and hospitality as soon as we walked through the door. Everything you need to eat in or walk/drive to a variety of restaurants. The cottage is like going back in time with all the modern conveniences. Very spacious, excellent Wi-Fi, comfortable furniture and beds. The hosts are incredible and it is clear they want their guests to be comfortable and have all they need for a perfect stay. We didn’t need anything, but Kevin communicated often to ask if we needed anything at all. We have booked two more stays and can’t wait to get back to The Cottage. You won’t regret selecting this property for a short or long-term stay.
