“Host allowed the property to be double booked and would not respond to either phone calls or text messages. VRBO took over 4 days to indicate that a full refund is available, I am still waiting for my refund as of the date of review.”

“This was a nice property. The cottage was cute and comfortable. Close to stores and restaurants. It never took long for Uber to get there and the rates to Downtown were very reasonable, especially compared to parking your own car. Would definitely recommend.”

“Good location; safe, excellent restaurants nearby, interesting neighborhood architecture. The cottage was spotless and is mostly in good shape, with a few notable exceptions. The kitchen faucet requires too much force to operate. The range lacks external venting, which means the kitchen turns into a sauna if you do much cooking. Finally, the living room furniture rattles when you walk there.”

“The house was beautiful and clean. We contacted the host a few times and got an immediate response. We enjoyed the lovely kitchen and open concept floorpan. The house is very large with 2 bedrooms down & 2 up. The bathrooms are very nice. We enjoyed the back screened porch with 2 fans to provide a cool breeze. We fished during the day and enjoyed the peace & quiet of the area.”

“The place was nice. But the experience with the owner was terrible. He had an issue with his booking price not being accurate (which was not my fault) so he ignored all my messages for the first week after I booked. He delayed my check in time because he didn't' want to rent me the place at the price I booked. I had to call the hotline and stay on hold for over 40 minutes to finally get him to respond and release the access code nearly 2 hours late. I was stranded in New Orleans waiting on him...

“This was a very comfortable place to stay. It is an older home that is beaitifully renovated. Parts of the house are not level. It was perfect for my family, except for having only one coffee cup. Plenty of k-cups were available, with no cups to drink it in. All three bedrooms have queen beds. There are no Kings. This was not convenient for my tall husband. The hostess was very prompt with replys. I would stay here again.”

“It’s a nice quiet place close enough to the French quarter to walk. Only complaints are the walls are thin so you can hear the people next door, and the mattress could use an upgrade. Although for the price and location, you can’t beat it!”

“We loved this cute home away from home. Really nice courtyard and canopy of Magnolia trees and tropical palms make you feel like you are in a really cool tree house. Rita is the perfect host, friendly and communicative. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the French Quarter. Map quest will tell you to take Peters Street, don't do it, super sketchy area. Stick to the residential areas. We located about 10 minutes walking distance to Frenchmen Street which is wonderful. The stay is unique...

“Pros: Lugar muy amplio y céntrico, departamento muy equipado, a 20 min de bourbon st. Contras: si son mas de dos personas, el agua caliente no es suficiente, por si te quieres dar un buen baño.. será con agua helada. Indican que se puede pedir un check out extendido pero no te da opcion la liga. Asi que la salida es si o si a las 11 am. Ni pagando extra, adicional que los ventiladores de techo y la luz se prenden continuamente sin control, en la madrugada te pueden sacar un buen susto.”

“La televisión por cable no funcionó. Se reportó en recepción y no lo pudieron resolver. No limpiaron la habitación al día siguiente. Entiendo que no cambien las toallas pero, barrer y botar la basura lo deberían hacer a diario.”
