Welcome to this newly renovated 10th floor condo at Pelican Beach, Destin! Step out onto the balcony and take in an impressive view of the sandy white beach and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Both the view and the location make #1009 one of the premier condos at Pelican Beach.

Our living area is designed with a comfortable beach vibe and offers cushy seating, a sleeper sofa, a large HDTV, and sliding glass door to the balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal, and there is dining seating for 4 plus breakfast bar seating for 4. The spacious bedroom suite is furnished with a king bed and offers an adjoining master bath with a tub/shower combination. There is a built-in hallway bunk with two twin beds, lighting and storage. An additional hallway bathroom offers a walk-in shower.

Pelican Beach is located directly on the beach and is centrally located to all the dining and entertainment Destin is famous for including spas, shopping, golf, fishing, Big Kahunas Water Park (within walking distance) and more! The resort offers three swimming pools including an indoor/outdoor swim through pool and a kiddie pool, tennis, hot tub, huge sun deck, beachfront grills, fitness center, upgraded cable and super high-speed internet, on-site cafe and market, secure entry with guard attendants, and convenient parking. Check in is easy – just park, unload, and let yourself in!

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Beach! The condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. This was our first trip to Destin and I'm sure we will be back!

Great view

The property was nice But it need some updates like the sofa had stains and wear markings, shower curtain had some mold, that unit just needs some work. I would definitely stay again if it was remodeled.

Chair rental and washer

I rented my chairs from 9am - 5pm and my chairs were put up at 2:30pm and they said because of weather but other guests were in their chairs till 5pm and no bad weather at all Washer would not drain and I had to wring the water out of each piece of clothes horrible then it took 4 cycles in the dryer to dry them

Only suggestions are to provide a regular coffee maker and a safety bar in the bathtub in the master bedroom. There is nothing to hold on to as you enter and leave the tub. We had a great time. The Resort is very nice, it has 3 heated pools and 2 Hot Tubs. The Resort has recently been all repainted. Our condo we had was clean , we had a problem with a kitchen appliance and they were out within the hour to fix it. The property manager was so kind and easy to communicate and contact. This particular unit needs a New Couch!!! Everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was good. I would love to see some beach decorations in the bedroom. We will stay there again because of the team and the lived the resort.

Property was clean and well maintained, besides the sandy floors. But that's the inevitable! I swept EVERYDAY! I would recommend this place for a family. Only recommendations for the owners to upgrade or purchase are the shower curtain in the main bathroom, a small beach umbrella for guests who travel by plane, and maybe a small box fan. We LOVE an extra little breeze and the ceiling fan was barely enough for us to get a decent sleep.

Sometimes you wonder if these places exaggerate or “doctor up” photos to make it seem nicer than it is, but this place was very accurate & enjoyable. The kids thought it was fun having their bunk beds, the condo was clean and organized, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye with a classy, coastal vibe. The kitchen is not stocked with pans & containers like you’d have at your house, but there was a reasonable amount of useful items to enjoy the perks of having a kitchen. Same with the beds... not like at home, but they were decent for a rental Having the cafe/tiki hut downstairs was so nice and convenient. I appreciated the security on site too to ensure only people with resort tags & wrist bands were allowed on site. The staff was nice. Made me feel safer having children with me. Location is great... close to lots of shops & restaurants. And I can’t forget to mention the VIEW from our balcony... absolutely gorgeous!!! We would definitely stay here again! (Minor note to owner: towel rack in Master bathroom is coming loose. May want to have maintenance tighten it up.)

Overall our stay here was excellent and would greatly recommend it to others. The room was well outfitted and we appreciated the beach amenities (chairs, kids toys, beach towel) in the closet.As for improvements, the showers could have been a bit cleaner, there was some mold on the shower knobs and the one shower curtain. Some of the other VRBO stays I have done provided things like tin foil, zip lock bags and other kitchen items that would make the stay more convenient.

Check in went smooth. Condo was in ok condition. The bathroom light was out in the master suite and the tub would not drain so that was gross. View from room was awesome but they need updated patio furniture. The beach was wayyyyyy too crowded and if you didn’t have umbrellas and chairs rented months in advance, there were none available. Had to sit behind 5 rows of chairs all the way in the back. Probably wouldn’t stay here again since chairs do not come with rental.

Nice property. Clean rooms, bedding, kitchen, etc. Great working with Phyllis. Only recommendation for the owner would be upgrade the balcony furniture to high top table/chairs.

This property is older and could use some updating but it was clean and well priced. It was a bit crowded on the beach area, but we were able to score front row beach chairs for one day so for us it was wonderful!

Nice Vacay for us

Condo was very nice , view was amazing , resort was well staffed and nice . Only complaint was the area rug by sofa was very dirty , could use a good cleaning or replacement . Other wise a wonderful place to enjoy a vacation .

Great condominium complex to stay at

Location is perfect, views are nice and staff was friendly. The couch needs to be replaced as well as some pans, other than that the condo was clean and cozy!
