Clean, but needs updates.

Our overall stay was good. Love the 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and pull out couch. Very spacious and the location was great. We loved the pools. Also loved that there was a washer/dryer and an ice maker. The couch was in pretty rough shape, it needs a good steam cleaning. There was no bathtub drain plug in the guest bath. There was a light out in the master bathroom. The whole place needs a paint job and new carpet in the bedrooms. The beds don’t actually have comforters and we slept with three sheets. Overall it’s a good place, but needs updates.

Unit as pictured but smells musty

The unit was as pictured but smelled musty. Being allergic to mildew/mold and sensitive to smells, I cancelled my stay after arriving.

Beautiful space, convenient location

Our condo was very nice, clean, and spacious. Plenty of space, had everything we needed. It's close to the beach and stores/restaurants. Our teens had a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Destin…our “happy” place!

Overall stay

Room and location was great. Two far bedrooms get very hot at night so may want to pack an extra fan. Close to great restaurants and activities. Easy beach access. Did not like that the private beach area was so small and you had to rent the chairs and umbrellas. Easy fix we went to Walmart and got chairs and umbrellas for our beach days. But overall would rent again!

Great location, easy check in, but a few hiccups

We booked a 10 day stay for our family (multi generations) 8 week old infant up to 70 years old. Location was perfect, loved the quiet end of the beach. The condo was not cleaned upon arrival, so that was disapppoiting. Due to Covid and general germs 2 of us spend the first 5 hours cleaning, trips to Walmart for cleaning supplies, and dusting, mopping. Bathrooms were gross, coffee pot was yucky, etc. Arrival was on weekend so I did let Vaasa know and they offered to refund 2 nights. Hopefully; based on my feedback, they let the cleaners know how important it is to really do a thorough cleaning.

Summer vacation 2023

We had an amazing time at our condo! It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. The beach was very close and the small pool included a bar and food venue that was extremely convenient and fun. Next time we will rent beach chairs at the beginning of our stay to reserve a front place by the beach. But it worked out as we were either floating in the ocean or playing in the pool the whole time. We loved our experience and will definitely be back!!

We really enjoyed the condo!

View of the pool and ocean was great! Nice spacious condo and balcony! Stocked with necessities. The gate and door codes made check in and out very easy! One bed is a full. It’s a little stiff but the other beds were comfy. Would definitely book it again. Close to everything and short, easy walk to the beach.

Great location in Destin

The property is a little dated and is in need of upgrade, but the location and the service through Vacasa was great. Note that if you’re not going during the ‘high season’, the large pool May not be heated and the snack shack by the beach pool probably won’t be open. Thankfully the smaller pool by the beach was heated, so most folks swam in that pool. The beach is great, amd it’s nice to have restrooms at the beach (by the smaller pool), so we didn’t have to walk all the way back to the room when it was needed. Overall a good place.

Wanted to stay forever!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was way better than what we expected. Access to the pool and beach were easy. We had everything we needed in the room. We would definitely try to book with them again.

Good location with easy beach access

Property was as advertised except they had a pull out sofa bed. The large pool isn’t heated but the small one near the beach was. King and double bed were comfortable. Twin beds were not. Balcony was lovely with enough seating for all of us. Access to the beach was easy but private portion of our beach was small and felt a little cramped in COVID times. We were kicked off the neighbors empty beach front when we tried to sit there. Showers and hoses to spray off yourself and your beach toys were nice. They even had shoe racks so you don’t have to wear your sandals down to the beach. Make sure you buy dishwasher detergent, TP and salt and pepper at the store. We also purchased beach chairs from Walmart since $50/day to rent seemed pricey. Happy hour and dinner at the Back Porch next door was convenient and good carry out.

Last minute trip to Destin

Check in was probably the easiest ever just save all the codes. Location was perfect. No too crowded this time of year. Would totally do it again.
