“We loved this property for our 4 day trip to explore North Eastern Maine. The Rustic Cabin was clean, well equipped and met all of our anticipated expectations. The grounds were well cared for. The host was easy to reach and answered all of questions and clarifications when needed. We will hope to stay here again.”

Just enough trees/shrubs to maintain privacy between camps.A little disappointing the docks/stairs to lake were not in during our stay. That being said, it was the first week with decent weather and it didn’t stop our lab from jumping in any chance she got would definitely return!”

“Our group came to Portage to snowmobile and explore the trail system in this area. I chose the Lakehouse cause the pictures were sunny, warm and welcoming. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and comfortable...hot shower were a plus. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. Mary the host was very helpful.”

“Stay was good. The loacation is very nice and it worked very well for where we needed to be. The place could use some minor fixing up and maybe some fresh exterior painting. We wrapped our work up there a day early but paid for the full 11 days. Wish there could have been a way to get reimbursed for thate last day that we didn't stay.”
