“This hotel provided us a room with a non-working refrigerator, which they knew ahead of time prior to check-in. We brought this to the staff’s attention, to which they did not discount our room, nor did they accommodate us by providing another room, free of charge. Unfortunately the few perishables we had purchased for the remainder of our stay were spoiled because of this, as we had anticipated a working refrigerator. Additionally they had no further amenities. We were very disappointed and……

“We had a lovely experience at Hotel Valz. The hotel is actively run by two families and the staff are very friendly. We stayed for 9 nights and commutated into Shkoder to watch our son play basketball at tournament. It’s about 30mins from Shkoder and close to the beaches. The area is still ”

“It was hard to take luggage to the chalet’s. They were very creaky rooms made of wood. You could hear everything in the loft when a person moved. The faucets were leaky, so you could hear drips while trying to sleep. The hotel triple beds room look like prison camp rooms. Very small tight and little. Not much room for luggage and to move around. If you like glamping. This is where you need to be. If you like luxury or comfort. No way Jose!”

“Beautiful, clean room with an incredible view of the sea. Staff is very friendly and the area has so many wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Just fyi, there is no parking onsite but many lots close for a fee. We love it here and are already planning to come back with family. ”

“This hotel is a family operated. They are very helpful, nice, friendly and accommodating…. When I checked in, I didn’t have the right euro change for local tax, no problem …I asked for late check out and they were very accommodating. Also, the price was really incredible and it’s right next to the old city attractions. I highly recommend it!”

“We had a wonderful stay at El Greco. Our room was clean, comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom with an excellent shower. The location was perfect, near shops and restaurants. El Greco has an excellent restaurant, Eat Greek, with a new bar with a lovely terrace. Above all, I cannot say enough about the incredible owners and staff. They were so accommodating to us and our two small dogs. We highly recommend and will absolutely return.”

“This place has the luxury of a boutique hotel with the ambiance of albanian hospitality. The rooms were beautiful, clean and unique, breakfast was delicious and fresh, but most of all the team & staff were lovely. It's family owned and the sons who work the front desk are the absolute kindest. Would highly recommend.
