“Although they were aware that we had booked a table for 9 people many weeks previously, the menu was severely restricted. There was little choice available on roast meals and we were offered 'homemade' pie which was burnt and hard with not much filling. This was very disappointing as it was an eagerly awaited special celebration.”

“This is not a Premier inn, but had character and I slept really well even though the pub faced an A road. My room had been fairly recently decorated I'd say. There was a little kettle in the room, with tea bags and coffee. Small TV , and ensuite toilet and shower. A lovely breakfast was included in the price, which was very reasonable. Nice owner. Close to the Bath & Wsst Showground.”

“We stayed at the Montigo Resort hotel as we were going to the Rock and Ribs festival. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes away from the festival by car. The hotel itself has a nice setting and does have a nice relaxed feel. Our room was fine and the bed comfortable. We did feel the room looked a little tired, especially the bathroom. The bath felt like you were going to fall through it and the shower was in the slope of the roof so you couldn’t stand up in it properly. Other than that it was a nice……

“Hi Jamie is a lovely young lady that runs the pub. Very helpful. The property is an old pub. There’s homemade food but no breakfast. But up the hill is a great cafe called The Hive. Unfortunately due to the heat we had to have window wide open, the problem is that it’s a is a busy road and therefore you hear lots of traffic noise even late at night . The bedroom 2 has a blind on back wall that lets light in from hall way .( I personally would block ) The shared bathroom needs some work (……

“The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!”

“The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room.”

“What a gem of a hotel with plenty of character. This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! Glastonbury is a wonderful spiritual place with a great vibe. Pubs close early evening for food orders but we visited an amazing……

“We enjoyed our stay in the historic Inn. Our room was large, clean and was ample for our 2 day staff. Breakfast was very good. The Inn isocated in a pretty village near Frome. We enjoyed our stay.”
