“Small booking hiccup but very professionally dealt with. Great customer service. I loved the pods, good space, all of the features you will need for a comfortable stay. “Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon”

“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

“This was our 4th visit to the thatch cottage and ppossibly the last. 1. Arrived at 3pm as on booking form door lockked all in darkness no one around. 2. 5 pm a lady turned up unlocked and let us in and booked in and showed us to the room, told us breakfast times but no evening meals on monday or tuesday. Room was ok 3. Went for breakfast next morning in darkness,only one cereal bowl no plates for toast no tea or coffee or milk ,no one around to ask,found plates and bowl in kitchen,butter had……

Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. “I, along with my husband, had a wonderful stay at the Temple Inn near Bath last night. We stayed overnight in one of their rooms, which was comfortable and inviting.
