Totally worth it I think, as I have found no good beaches on Tahiti. (We once asked a taxi driver to take us to the best beach, and he dropped us of in a strip of sand behind the McDonald's.) At the resort, you have access to the pool, a snorkeling pond, and a small beachfront where you can also rent scuba gear.
