Really fantastic staff in an incredibly convenient location

This is just for the hotel, not for publication. There was a fire scare and the hotel management handled it very poorly. We kept getting the following cryptic message: "The fire alarm has been activated and the fire department has been informed. Stay calm." Stay calm? Where? In our room or outside, on the sidewalk? The audio system in the rooms is poor and, to make matters much worse, both the man and the woman who delivered it repeatedly spoke in rather accented English. Next time, please, at least ask a native speaker to deliver the news. This experience was very upsetting and, sadly, it's what I will remember about the hotel. This hotel deserves better.

Great location, near Osgode station and street cars, 15 mins walk to CN tower and Rogers Centre. Room was small but clean and very well designed, had lots of storage space and 2 big suitcases easily fitted under the bed. Good value for money. Could do with a chair in the room but not a deal breaker as we were mostly out exploring and only needed a base, Air conditioning was really good very powerful and the room got nice and chilly. Staff was kind and very helpful. Would stay again.
