"The apartment is in a great central location - on a piazza with a couple of cafe's outside and above a bistro. Easy access to all the sights of the Sassi and Matera, and of course more cafe's and restaurants less than 10 mins walk. Very centrally located for dining out and getting home after a day of sightseeing. Alberto was a great host - his wife would leave us cakes and focaccia while Alberto made sure we were stocked up for the week with pastries for breakfast and housekeeper who kept us...

"All we can say is that the pictures looked great and cozy but the actual location is far more impressive being located right next to the 2nd most important church in Taranto. We opened the window and looked out side and was blessed with seeing the church right there, the sounds of the street of people walking by it all comes together for that romantic get away. "Conveniently located just a short walk from the entrance to the Sassi. Many restaurants and cafes there. Street parking available on street in front of apartment. Only problem was that WiFi did not work. Fortunately, our phones are on an unlimited data plan."

"Funktionelle Unterkunft, nur ca. 350m zur Piazza Vittorio Veneto. In der Unterkunft ist alles vorhanden, bei Ankunft erhielten wir von Prospero und seinem Sohn viele nützliche Informationen. Matera ist unglaublich beeindruckend, samstags sehr großer Straßenmarkt im neuen Teil der Stadt. Sehr empfehlenswert!"

"We stayed at Simona’s to go to SailGP. The accommodations were perfect and Simona helped us by booking taxis and restaurants. She also made sure we were having the best time. The place is out of the city a bit but close to beaches and the great community of San Vito, only a ten minute taxi ride to Taranto."

"We had a great one night stay. We would have liked an elevator but the off street parking was good to have. The host had made a cake, had milk and sugar for coffee along with coffee pods."

"Bellissimo appartamento di altissimo confort con rifiniture e facilities da hotel 4 stelle superiore. Carino e completo anche l'angolo cucina del soggiorno. Luninoso con balcone su piano nobile prospiciente via commerciale del centro cittadino. Un solo difetto: secondo piano alto (edificio d'epoca!) senza ascensore e quindi non consigliato ad anziani o portatori di bagagli ingombranti."
