I particularly enjoyed the breakfast here. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was excellent. However, out of the four coffee machines in the breakfast area, two were not working, and at times as many as three were out of order. The front desk staff were generally very good and were eager to help me with matters such as bus routes, making change, and arranging taxis. What also left a strong impression on me was that the local ecology seems to be well preserved. There are a cat, chickens, seagulls, and other birds freely roaming around the hotel, and one evening I even saw a sea turtle.

Ce magnifique hôtel a besoin d’une bonne rénovation, ma première chambre nécessitait de faire couler l’eau 15 minutes pour obtenir une douche chaude, on l’a proposé une autre chambre qui sentait l’humidité et disposais d’un appareil pour retirer l’humidité, j’ai fini par gardé ma première chambre pas défaut, j’ai voulu réservé au restaurant sur le ponton il était fermé pour congé annuel, bref ils auraient pu me surclasser avec une chambre vu mer mais même pas

The staff can’t guide you in there own hotel There is no ice machine we had to go at the bar for it and they wasn’t happy we asked

We had an awesome time staying at La Toubana! The set up of the resort on the cliff side is very unique….. having a pool up top overlooking the sea and beach below offers the best of both worlds. They have done a great job of making each bungalow feel secluded utilizing the elevation of the cliff and foliage of the land. Bungalow 19 had a great view of a small cover and cliff side but also the southern tip of Basse-Terre in the background. This resort is on the smaller scale and more intimate, if you’re looking for busy nightlife this is not the place. At one point we had the pool to ourselves for close to 2 hours. Drinks and food are a little on the higher end compared to what can be found outside the resort. I would recommend getting a rental car to explore the islands as the resort has free parking. Overall an amazing experience and would totally recommend and even come back!
