“What a great place! We were running later than expected which didn’t seem to be a problem. Sheryl reached out to us to let us know that our room key was left out for us….thank you Sheryl! We came to North Conway to visit some friends from out of town. We decided to stay at the Kearsarge inn rather than staying at a regular hotel. This place was great. “We stayed here to ride our bikes on the presidential rail trail in Gorham and float on the Saco. North Conway is a great place to be close to nature and still be near restaurants and necessities. The Golden Gables was located in a spot that is easy to get in and out of. The grounds and pool were refreshing after spending the day bike riding. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. We were on the first floor so we could house our bikes at night. It was a great value. ”

“The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. “The grounds are well kept, the outdoor pool was very comfortable. The location is perfect, you are surrounded by all the best restaurants, NH attractions and beautiful mountains. The staff were very accommodating to my minor issues. The rooms have everything you need, I was surprised to find a well stocked kitchen, I could have prepared Thanksgiving dinner in these rooms. definitely recommend a stay here, you wont regret it.”

“Convenient location as it sits right at one end of the Kancamagus Highway. 10 minutes to North Conway. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice and clean room with amenities. The indoor hallway is an extremely interesting and useful feature. Coffee is served in the lobby after 7am. Highly recommend it.”

“This property was amazing! We booked a king room in the saltbox with a jacuzzi room. The room was clean, the bed was soo comfortable and the jacuzzi was massive! also the water pressure in the shower was so strong! Lastly, this inn has a history of being haunted and we can’t wait to come back and possibly experience it for ourselves! ”
