“I accidentally left in our room a package that contains all the most important things that one would carry onto the airplane, including extra cash, credit cards, inflatable pillow....etc. When I realized it was no longer with me the next day, I called the owner Julia as my last hope. She picked up the phone right away and told me that she has been so worried for me (she only had my contact information from my home country, not from the US). We drove back to pick up my package. “Dan’s home (aka Rick’s Place) was absolutely perfect for someone looking for a calm, peaceful and secluded ocean front view. This is the most well stocked home we’ve ever rented. They have everything for you. It is off the beaten path, so for those looking for downtime with the ocean waves crashing in your backyard, then this is the right spot for you. As my wife said as we left, she’s never been more disappointed to leave a rental house behind. ”

“This property was very clean and well-stocked with many items to make our stay very comfortable. The views are beautiful and we did enjoy a round of golf. It’s not in great shape, but the reviews are stunning! We really enjoyed the outdoor living part of this home. The pool was wonderful to have; however, the listing stated it was heated, but should be clarified to say “solar heated”. We would definitely come back to stay at this property again!”

“This house is exactly as described. Room for 8 (if 2 are thin and short or are children). The host is very communicative and helpful. The check in and check out process is very easy. There are games in the basement and the host has a whole shed of snorkels, fins, chairs, beach equipment, etc. Really great if you've come from far and obviously couldn't pack your own.Why this house might not be for you: it is rural. If you want to go to Kona it's 1 to 1 1/2 hours away. Volcanoes NPS is about 2……

“I’m always looking for a quiet place to get away from all of today’s modern stress. The house layout is perfect as you can rest inside and still see all the views or relax on the generous lanai. Walk down to view the ocean and schools of fish by the cliff. And best of all enjoy the plunge pool which is bigger than the pictures indicate. Loved our time here. Thank you to Deb and Carl for their hospitality.”

“We had such a great time. when some of us wanted to go to the beach and some wanted to stay at the house it went safe and they were content. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We cooked together and there was plenty of room for everyone of the 6 of us.”
