"Me and my partner had a beautiful stay here for his 30th birthday. Had plans to see Silverwood theme park but unfortunately they closed. Heidi and Don were wonderful hosts for us! The lake was beautiful too. Even got to enjoy using their small row boat to fish on the lake! (Be sure to get your fishing license for the day) The kitchen set up in the small and cozy guest house was unique. Definitely enjoyed making our coffee in the morning and sitting down by the lake. Overall 10/10 stay. Would...

"The property was exactly as described. Owners communication very quick. Very clean, quick trip to Silverwood! We had a great time, would stay here again!"

"We have mixed feelings about this stay! Jaime was great, she is first rate. Just make sure you understand what a tiny cabin is. It was indeed tiny, but really cute. Property is beautiful and well kept however views from the cabin not as we had hoped. Warning... No cell service, make sure you have arrangements made before arriving. WiFi is available after you check in."

"Great property and great hosts. It was too cold to use the kayaks, but we did use the bikes, which were a nice amenity. The complimentary ride in the Model T was also a nice treat. One note on the bikes - one of the bikes is small so might want to take that into consideration if you are much over 5' and are looking to ride many miles."

"The view out the front window was beautiful. But the internet was almost nonexistent at night so the smart tv didn’t work either and I couldn’t get work done on my computer. The front door screen was torn when we got there and the coffee carafe broke as I was filling it with water. The bed was comfortable and we slept great!"

"I would not stay in this cottage agin but like to try the one further away from the highway. bad nois. this cottage had a terrible shower. leaking watr heater. and was in need of a new washer dryer. dryer would not shut off and wash machine was very noisy. Ver nice area though wit easy access."

"We chose to rent locally for a Christmas getaway. This home struck us primarily for the view "which was magnificant". But everything else exceeded any expectations we may have had. Eagle watching/photographing was incredible. Our family loved utilizing the couch that comes together in a cube for a movie night. Ammeneties were everything we we needed (even to pull off a Christmas dinner). And the hosts were excellent. (Thank you for sharing your home). We hope to come stay again."

"We enjoyed our time at Midtown Outpost. We came to town to visit family and found the house to be quite adequate for our stay. We enjoy cooking…the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and allowed us to prepare meals and visit with family members in the front room. The location was great and allowed us to visit with several family households throughout CDA and access the area of attractions. The house was older, but nicely updated. Thank you for a great stay!"

"It is a cute place to stay walking distance to the beach -Sanders Cove, to hikes on Tubbs Hill, to downtown dining and to concert at the park just 3 blocks or less on Wednesdays from 5-8pm."

The recently refurbished accommodations deserve better representation in the photos, as the current ones don't capture the true essence of this place. "Everything was clean neat and perfect. Right away when we checked in it instantly felt like a home away from home the baked goods were wonderful we enjoyed them and the milk.
