“This trip was planned around what my husband wanted to see on his first trip to Manhattan. Having lived in Manhattan in the 80's, I knew the part of town that would be the best home base for most of our activiites but did not want a mega-hotel environment. This property exceeded our highest hopes! Two "short" blocks from the center of Central Park South placed us within safe walking distance of sites, dining and shopping in every direction. “We booked September 1st to 30th. Host cancelled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd after we booked. Host refunded money, but not VRBO processing fees for her cancellation request! Check in time later than what was advertised. Apartment Not clean or modern! Furniture stained and dirty. Closet doors falling off. Shower hardware rusted and broken. Faucet in bathroom sink broken and loose. King mattress on top of a filthy, stained, and old Queen box spring, on top of a dirty Queen bed frame. Dining room chairs and……
