"Very nice"

"My daughter and I loved the photos of how the rooms looked, but upon arrival we realized a few things and it just kind of continued downhill. First, the room is SMALL. Like jail cell small and the bathroom sink fits the same description. I couldn’t brush my teeth without banging my arm against the shower. (Which the water was too hot one day and freezing the next, couldn’t take a real shower before leaving).. First night, room was uncomfortably warm, but I couldn’t have the window open...

"We came to see a concert at the Fillmore and were able to walk from here. Great location for dinner first. Beautiful and super clean property. Would definitely stay here again."

"Room had refrigerator and microwave. Bed was clean and comfortable. For the price range this is a good deal. The room in the 50 to 60 dollar price range is hard to beat. Most all california motels are more expensive. Recommend this for a budget minded solo traveler. Just be safe with the neighborhood. It is a bad neighborhood full of drugs and homelessness. "

"This is more for a couple or individual. Shower Water was cold. Water pressure was bad. Shower head was in a terrible spot and the shower was messy. Great location, parking outside wasn't so bad, just read the signs. Place was clean. The Shower was very unfortunate."

"The cottage is so lovely. Everything you would need is there available for your use. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the furnishings were beautiful. The bathroom was beautiful and had plenty of clean towels and washcloths. The cottage was cozy and we kept nice and warm on the cold evenings. There is a washer and dryer, however we never used it. Downtown Napa is less than 2 miles away. We will definitely stay here again!"

"After a grueling day of travel, we opened the door to this beautiful hideaway! There was gentle mood music playing that immediately soothed our stressed nerves, and a special treat left for us from the hosts. The bed is extremely comfy-it was tough getting up every morning, and the location was just what we were looking for to get to our destinations each day! We had a wonderful week here and look forward to the possibilities for the future! Thank you so much Eugene and Natalie for allowing us...

"We enjoyed the space and privacy, and proximity to Trestle Glen and Piedmont. Would have appreciated more attention to cleaning, especially the floors and cobwebs. The loose railing on the stairs needs to be addressed."

"There were six of us on the property, and we were so welcomed with a lot of amenities. We’ve felt totally at home from the moment we walked in the door. There were deer to watch, beautiful mountains, gorgeous landscape. It is isolated and restful we enjoyed every minute of our stay ! The host of this property should get five stars for Cleese, organization, supplies, and beauty . Thank you."

"Chris was very responsive to my many questions as a first time guest. Description is very accurate. Location is conveniently within walking distance of St. Albert’s Priory, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. It was very nice to have the option to park on the property for a small fee. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Oakland."

"Secluded, quaint upstairs unit. Plenty of shops and walking trails in area. Businesses do close early though. Bed was somewhat too firm but ample linens/comforters. Bathroom is tiny. There is no large clawfoot tub out back but large table /chairs in secluded area was fun happy hour spot."
