Top Pinole Hotel Reviews

Stanford Court San Francisco

Stanford Court San Francisco

8/10 Good
"The staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. The bar area is great, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Location is right at the top of the steep hill at California St but the cable car stop is also there. The only reason I haven’t given it a 5* is the breakfast could be improved. You have to hand in a breakfast buffet voucher (pay extra for à la carte) and you are handed a plate (v old and scratched). Options are limited and no table service. You have to make your own tea in a paper cup. That doesn’t make it a luxury hotel in my view."

"This hotel was a perfect location for us. We stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed it. Didn’t have any time to use the amenities, but the pool seemed nice. Room was clean and restocked each day for us."

"Gets the job done. Small room but enough to lay your head. Clean. Cleaning staff did good job ensuring clean sheets and towels daily, which was great."

Walnut Creek Marriott

Walnut Creek Marriott

10/10 Excellent
"Room and property was clean and well maintained. Staff at check in and the bar were nice and helpful. Our only complaint was how a group of pre-teens were extremely loud and obnoxious the whole morning and then proceeded to kick or knock on the doors of everyone with a “do not disturb” sign, pretending to be housekeeping. Once I called down to the front desk, I do believe someone eventually came up, but honestly surprised it went on for so long especially since my husband said he even saw them on another floor."

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

8/10 Good
"The hotel is in an excellent location just a few steps from Union Square, the cable car stop, and the BART train station, not to mention all the clothing stores and food options around it. The room was clean and very comfortable with a refrigerator inside, and I really liked the free cookies, apples, and water in the lobby. However, the service from the lobby staff could be improved, as they misplaced my small suitcase and only found it after checking three times. Management should improve staff training so they follow protocols and do not affect customers. I would stay at the hotel again, but I would be careful with the lobby staff."

The Pickwick Hotel

The Pickwick Hotel

8/10 Good
"Tired basic hotel. Clean and fairly good value for money. Air con worked but rattled a bit. We had no cleaning service on Sunday just a bit under the door saying due to high occupancy we are unable to service your room. I had to phone and go down for more coffee pods. Choice maker and small fridge in rooms which was nice. Very good location with bus rides and train station all 2 minute walk. Large supermarket within 7-10 min walk."
