“What can you say about parsons b&b only one word fantastic. David and his wife are the perfect hosts and nothing wasn’t any trouble. Every morning he would leave us a tray of tea and coffee with a jug of milk and no plastic small pots of milk in site. Rooms are beautiful decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and all locally sourced and was superb, the parsons b&b is right in the heart of Hartington so you can park your car and have no need to drive it till you...

“Quite an old fashioned property but clean and tidy. As I was in the attic area the shower was difficult to control. Breakfast good and 2 eateries close by for evening meal”

“Owners and staff were welcoming and the room was spacious, full facilities, warm. Approx 9 miles from Buxton, a rural but convenient for access. Adjacent to a main road, but no disturbances for sleep with the rooms to the rear of the pub. Enjoyed the well presented food. Lovely fish & chips. Slight issue over lasagne, quickly remedied/replaced. Excellent cooked breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Very good value, would recommend and probably return if in area again.”

“It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. “Blossom House is in the heart of Tideswell Village, and provided for a really enjoyable stay. While it is next door to the Horse and Jockey Pub, i suggest you venture to the Star public house for food and drink. The H&J is a bit naff.”
