Beautiful cottage
We had a great week here. The host is wonderful. The cottage is fabulous and comfortable, and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool was perfect for warm, sunny days. As other reviews say, it is close to the hospital district, but that wasn't a big deal for us. It's close to downtown for visits to Grubb's Grocery & the Farmer's Market. Others have mentioned the steep stairs to the upstairs area. They are steep; it's an historic home, and that is one of the many cool facets of this 1940's home. If, like us, you enjoy older, unique homes with character, you will love staying here!

Exactly what I needed
We were able the relax in the fairly private pool for several days and have a little fire in the fire pit, which is all we needed to unwind. Close proximity to amenities is nice in case you forget something, you won't have to drive far and be out all day. The house is old but updated, it has a great character that we liked a lot. Home is well stocked with paper products, linens, and coffee. The neighbors are quiet and we all kept to ourselves. Gas grill works great! New gas stove works great! The host is very responsive if you run into any issues. We had a great experience.

Charming house
This is such a charming little cottage. There were 4 adults and my grown children ages 17-24. The upstairs did have very steep stairs, but my kids stayed up there and had no trouble. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The outside space was wonderful especially for the hot days when we were just hanging out at the pool. Did have an issue with the oven not working properly but the owner was quick to respond and compensate us when she couldn't get a new one delivered during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience.

Mini Vacation with Family to attend a Baby Shower
The property was as described and check in was easy. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes for use. The pool was perfect for our family. **WE are not pool owners and wasn't aware until the day we left that the storm that came prior to our arrival and left alot of debri also tripped the pool pump breaker which explains why the pool was so cloudy each day. We just cleaned up the branches and leaves and made the best of it The pool service informed us as we were packing to leave. Had I know I would have reset or contacted Samantha. Maybe a note on the fridge that the water should be flowing-moving will prevent someone else from not knowing in the future. Thank You for allowing us to rent for 4 days and 3 nights

Adorable but noisy!
Very cute place well decorated and comfortable. Beds extremely comfortable. The oven didn’t work and the stairs to the upstairs additional beds is extremely steep and dangerous to climb. There were many sirens all day and night as the hospital is just down the road. The pool was nice and overall it was a good stay.

Cottage with a pool
This is an adorable house. The cottage feel is brought to life with beautiful decor throughout. You immediately feel at home with comfortable furniture and exquisite linens along with a nicely stocked kitchen and coffee bar. But then - you discover the amazing pool and outdoor entertaining area completely with a nice grill. The attention to detail is incredible. You won’t find anything like this is Jackson.

Fantastic stay for weekend visit!
We came to Jackson to celebrate daughter’s Union University graduation. Needed a place for 7 adults, 1 infant to stay, plus area to host 2 grandparents. This unique & beautiful older home was perfect! Spacious kitchen to prepare meals with large family table. Comfy living room & sitting room w/bonus coffee/tea bar! AMAZING backyard space with plenty seating areas along with pool & fire pit. As mentioned in other reviews: bring a white-noise machine for nights…lots of ambulances pass by due to hospital up the street. Our HUSHH machine did the trick & we slept just fine! Also, the stairs to the upper level room is crazy steep with tall steps! Not ideal for older adults or young children. Also, showers could not be used at same time…upstairs lost almost all water if main floor shower was going. Just made sure no one showered at same time! Only other bummer was the beautiful fireplace wasn’t prepped to work, which would have been a nice touch on chilly rainy mornings/evenings. Everything else was top-notch: comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, practically unused kitchenware/cookware, and lovely decor. The location for us was perfectly central to all parts of Jackson we wanted: Union U & downtown for farmers market/eating out. Communication with Samantha was fast and super helpful! I highly recommend this quaint and lovely home!

Cute and very clean place to stay!
The place was cute and very clean! The beds were extremely comfortable. A home away from home! Will stay there again. I would love to know where the sheets, pillows and comforter came from! Host was extremely responsive and super nice!

We felt like we were in a resort getaway and it was conveniently located in the heart of Jackson. Great accommodations and wonderful management team! The pool was amazing and the outdoor living a nice extension for social events!

Lovely and comfortable, but a little noisy
Let me start by saying.... We would stay here again. Our beds were extremely comfortable and I greatly appreciated that linens did not smell of floral detergent (hate that stuff!). Den, dining, kitchen and outdoor area was above expectations. Not knowing the area, we didn't realize that the hospital was just a couple of blocks away and the house is located on a corner of a relatively busy intersection. Car noise and ambulance sirens was common. However if we were to stay again, we'd just bring more noise covering fans for night time/early morning sleep. There also wasn't an iron nor an outlet in bathroom to run hair dryer, so just plan accordingly. All in all, it was a good place to hang out, play games, and rest our heads. 😊

Back Yard Oasis
Sweet historic home, great size for our family. The host is very responsive and super friendly. The pool and back yard were just what we were hoping for. The beds were better than most hotels, and the linens we so soft I asked for the brand and ordered a duvet cover! Things to be aware of - the doorway to the upstairs and the entire upstairs, including the shower, are a challenge for tall people. The stairs are also taller and steeper than modern-day, but we got used to them. Also, there is a hospital just a few blocks away, so there are frequent sirens. The string lights make the back yard and pool a dreamy place in the evening, and my daughter especially enjoyed reading and sleeping in the hammock.

Great house!
We enjoyed our stay. Great decor and love the remodel. Nice & cozy house overall. I would suggest more accessories in the kitchen including dishes, mixing bowls and maybe a baking dish or two. The upstairs was very hot when we arrived but we were able to cool it quickly by turning down the ac. The upstairs is pretty empty and the stairs to go up and down can be a bit treacherous. We intended for children to stay up there but the stairs and open railing didn't allow for that. We would have liked to see the pool jets running to keep the pool cleaner as well. Final request would be more trashcans. The one available outside was full when we arrived so all of our trash bags had to be left in the carport. There are lots of sirens because of the proximity to the hospital but nothing we didnt learn to ignore. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
