"A fun, unique property in a quiet yet lively neighborhood. We loved the property itself, great for lazy days floating in the pool or sitting in the jacuzzi. The decks are a peaceful place to hang out, enjoying a cup of coffee or a cocktail with tranquil views. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils and appliances. While could have easily just stayed home at the property all week, there are many excursions too good to pass up. The ocean beach is a short hike away, flat and sandy for miles and miles. If the ocean is too rough, there are beaches on the sound (calmer side of the island) not too far away. We had a great time exploring up and down the coast, getting ice cream at Village Conery (two blocks away), hanging out at Waterman's, and visiting Roanoke Island for great shopping and history. If you're wanting to visit the Outer Banks, this is the place to stay."

"We had the best week at Always Remember. It was a breeze walking straight onto the beach and having the house right there to make lunch or take a break from the sun. We brought our dog with us, and it was so nice to be able to let him out throughout the day. The house was extremely clean and was the perfect set up for us! The hosts were so welcoming and available if we needed them, loved the lists of local spots they provided. We plan to return next year!"

"We loved this house. It was perfect for our group of 10. Close walk to the beach. Short drive to grocery store and places to eat. "

"On our way down, the owner contacted us to tell us that the previous guest had broken the stove. They asked if it was ok to come replace it and they compensated us with lunch for interrupting our visit, which was not necessary, but grateful for the awesome pizza! They are extremely friendly and it was a great location. The kids loved all of the different rooms and especially the loft and balconies. If ever in the Outer Banks again, we will definitely reach out to them."

"We enjoyed our stay The house clean and presented like the photos. There are a few minor repairs needed. The stove top cooks on high all the time. Corner cabinets doors in the kitchen are coming off the hinges, blinds in the master bedroom and bath on the first floor are incomplete, table in master up stairs is broken and the dryer takes two cycles to dry anything, There is limited large pans for cooking for a larger group, number of towels provided are enough for a day so your doing laundry daily. There’s a trick to locking the doors which we don’t know the first night, you have to lift on the handle in order for the lock to turn. I know I listed a number of items but they are all minor things and can be easily addressed and did not have a negative impact on our stay or opinion of the rental. Other rentals we’ve stayed in had a guest book. This would be a great idea as previous guest and future can write in it and leave tips and experiences for new guests. Items of restaurants, must see or do’s etc."

"Very clean with some maintenance issues. The dryer did not work, sliding door locks did not work on any of the doors. Piece of ceiling was falling in one of the bedrooms. The worst part was the dryer did not work though. Overall a nice house."
