“The house was great, plenty of space for our whole family of 8 plus our combined three dogs. The rooms were as they seemed in the listing, and the whole property was very clean and the host responsive. If you intend to cook anything in the oven, you may want to bring along some disposable aluminum cookware. There were plenty of pots and pans for stove-top cooking but not much for baking and roasting.”

“The property is very clean and modern. Very centrally located for adventures at the dunes. We loved our stay. The host is extremely responsive and assisted with suggestions for dinner. It took us only 5 minutes to drive to the beach area from the property which was amazing. And the host is very kid friendly. The property itself is attached to the back of a business which did throw me off a little but we had zero issue with privacy while staying. And there was zero noise issue from the……

“The property was not as described. The photographs of the living room are outdated (the furniture pictured is not present in the home), and several of the blinds in the home were broken. The VRBO photos of the yard are not even close to representing how the yard actually looks. There were two broken Adirondack chairs and some lawn furniture covered in plastic. The canopy/gazebo was lying broken in the front yard (this was not a new problem, as it was mentioned in a previous review). The yard was……

18. Golden Dunes Stay Valpo | 5 BR, 3 King Beds | Game Area + Fire Pit + Deck Lounge

“Ten of us enjoyed our stay here. It was small family reunion with age range of 7 to 87. We slept very comfortably, and enjoyed each other's company in the open kitchen, on the spacious deck and gathered around the peaceful fire pit.We cooked up some great food here. The location has easy access to groceries and other attractions. This place gets 5 stars, not for being fancy and pretentious like a lot of "5 star" places, but for being a nice home-away-from-home" at a great price. I would stay……

19. Modern 3BR w/Deck · Minutes from I-65. Fenced Yard

Merrilville

“This is not a place to stay with small children; glad mine are grown for this stay. Also, the host really needs to have people they know stay there a bit to see what guests are really looking for. This property really felt like someone is just trying to make money and they don't really care about the people using the property. One of our beds was broken, there were limited furnishings and the tv in the living room was not user friendly at all. I would not recommend this property for any long……
