"Wonderful location in Laguna Beach! Just across the street is a great breakfast and lunch spot, Orange Inn; plus a convenient grocery store to stock up on beach picnic supplies! The hotel may be a little dated, but we found it very charming and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel room door opens out onto a pretty courtyard with a nice pool. I enjoyed sitting out by the pool and reading, but mostly we explored Laguna Beach shopping and beaches! No need to rent a car. "

"The hotel has a retro aesthetic with affordable, simple, and in a safe area. The location to the beach, downtown shops, and restaurants was great. Defiantly not a luxury hotel, but great for a couple days at Laguna Beach."

"I already reviewed this once, but will repeat my comments. This hotel has a great location, but it is really in need of major upgrades. Security was a big concern: there were several gates from the parking lot and street that were kept unlocked at all times; anyone could get in without passing the front desk. There were card readers on the room doors but they were not operational. My mattress was old and I could feel all the metal springs. I had to cover it with extra pillows in order to sleep....
