"Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking €3 per night. Fast electric car chargers 1 minute away. Very clean rooms and good beds and shower. Nice little bar in the foyer. Close to the motorway but far enough away so you don’t hear any traffic. "
"Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und die Innenstadt und das Theater sind quasi um die Ecke. Leider sind die Zimmer, wir hatten ein Apartment, in die Jahre gekommen und müssten dringend renoviert und zeitgemäß eingerichtet werden. Die Couch im unserem Apartment hatte große unschöne Flecken und das Bad ist gefühlt aus dem letzten Jahrtausend. Parken kann man gleich hinter dem Hotel zu vernünftigen Preisen, dass war positiv."
"The woman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly, but that was the last good thing that happened. The room was absurdly small, maybe 12' x 12', and the ceilings slope almost to the floor! If you are over 4' 6" tall (125cm?) (I do not exaggerate) you will certainly suffer a painful bump on the head. Also, there is no AC: it was very uncomfortably hot and stuffy. And this is not a full service hotel. For example, if there is a problem in the corridor in the middle of the night (as there was)...

"Rooms weren’t very clean. Ants in the room for example. Staff weren’t very friendly upon check in. We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were poor and rooms felt very old. And it wasn’t even very affordable. Not coming back. "

The unique feature for me was the overall vibe and design—it felt really modern yet cozy.

"Uns hat das Spree Hotel direkt am Spree Hafen in Lübbenau ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Es ist modern, hell und überraschend ruhig gelegen, die Betten sind komfortabel, das Badezimmer hat eine schicke Dusche. Das Frühstück vielfältig. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall und würden gerne wiederkommen."
