“We liked the clean room and the great view of the pier and the ocean. The staff was awesome and super helpful. Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel, and it provides beach amenities (surfboards and longboards, bicycles, chairs, umbrellas, games, and more). They have a really nice gym and a rock-climbing wall that we didn't use (wish we had), and we're not sure whether there's a pool. We purchased a breakfast package with our stay. “I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in……

The hotel offers a daily USD 15 credit per room for restaurant spending, but when we stayed in two rooms and spent USD 30 at Starbucks, it wasn’t deducted at checkout. “This is favorite place to stay in Newport. We have been staying at Newport inn for the last 6 years at least twice a year. Staff is awesome and helpfull. They have beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys and bikes. The walk to the beach takes roughly 3 min. There is also a playground in the back if you have children. Parking is included in the price, which is unheard of with every other location charging around 20 dollars a day, i believe. If you are visiting Newport to……
