“Super clean, quiet, and everything you need. It's a few blocks from a grocery so you can pick up food for dinner, right on the streetcar line (currently free to ride) which makes it easy to explore the downtown area, and a number of restaurants nearby. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. There was even coffee and tea available. If you're on a long trip, you'll appreciate having a washer and dryer right in the apartment. We did have an issue with parking, which I'll mention to help...

We were warned about the stairs, and honestly, they weren't a problem until the last day. I think we were just tired and 8 flights of stairs with luggage was a little much. “The home was perfect from every perspective! It was spacious, clean, new and equipped for everything we needed. The handling of the reservation was impeccable. It was interesting and great to be in the quiet small downtown of Smithville! The people in the coffee shop (Leah?) downstairs and in the nearby restaurant we so very friendly. And Smithville Lake is less than 10 minutes away, and downtown Kansas City about 25 easy minutes.”
