Room was clean. The options on TV chanels was a good variety. Plenty of parking. Decent options such as target, lucks and fast food all a couole of minutes away The only draw back was the shower. The wall had a hole in it the size of a quarter and the water presure was non existent. I began refering to it as a misting closet. Overall a good no frills place to stay if you need a place to crash.

They hv small decks off the rooms. Ours overlooked the pool. We could leave our patio door open-that was nice. Great bed, good sheets n towels. Walk in shower which we loved. Had all of the hair/body amenities! Coffee in the room. After we had told older man in the am we did not want housekeeping that day-he failed to let them know. They came into our room which we did not want. They then gave us a DND sign to hang on the door! Places to eat n things to do for easy to get up. Montetey is a beautiful city! We would stay again.

Ok the pricing was good for one night stay, traveling with husband and 3 kids. If your a single person looking for a cheap price and a quick stay this would be ok place to be but for a family no way. They had a pool but couldn’t swim because it was dirty with what looked like toilet paper! Checking in was a slow process. The room smelled clean and beds looked ok but there was dog food left on the floor from previous person. Hair dryer did not work. They have a bathtub but no faucet that can fill the bathtub just the shower head. We needed more towels so we tried using the phone in the room to call front desk but the phones do not work at all. Room door does not have a 2nd lock like most hotels would have but On the plus side microwave and fridge work.

I frequently stay at the Sand Dollar. It's budget friendly and the staff is always helpful. The pool is well maintained and they have an elevator which is a godsend when you're on the 3rd floor.
