We didn’t use the gym or laundry. The staff were friendly. Our room was just too small for 3 adults. The bathroom was very small, a toilet and step in tub. One hook to hang your clothes. We didn’t spend any time in Seaside other than in the hotel. We were there for the Jurassic Park exhibit at the Monterey County fairgrounds.

Seaside is a busy little town about 2 miles from Monterey. Monterey motel rates are much higher.
