"The location is conveniently close to the state park and it's a very short drive to access the trails and visitor's center. However, the cottage has a musty smell and the burners on the stove were warped to the point that we had trouble cooking our food. We also had some issues with the AC unit in the bedroom."

"We loved our stay here. It was secluded and quiet. It is right on the Arkansas River, but be warned you can't fish as you are up on top of a mountain. The view is beautiful and we saw two bald eagles fly by several times. We ate the best steak at Toad Suck Bucks just up the road from the cabin. This is a great place if you want to disconnect and relax!! We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Misty!!"

"We are local to the area so it was an easy trek across town. It was a fun weekend getaway for my husband and me. Everything was clean. Bed was comfy. We were supplied everything we needed and what wasn’t there was retrieved from a quick trip down the road to restaurants and other shopping. Lots of thought was put into creating this space and the owner keeps it well maintained. Will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is under renovation and needs it. The staff are great (thanks, Rachel!) and the location clean. The only downside really was the snotty carpet contractor who decided to cut the new carpet in the driveway right in front of the door and gave me attitude when I asked how I was supposed to pick up my disabled family member. He was a jerk. "
