The hotel was a fairly short walk from the convention center. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was decent. Making my own waffles was fun and delicious. I wish they would've had whipping cream and berries to put on the waffles. The room had a nice view. My only complaint about our room was we were on a non smoking floor and we had noisy smokers staying above us so we could hear and smell them. I ran the kitchen exhaust fan and that helped cover up their noise and dispensed the smoke. The bathroom didn't have a fan so it was a little smelly sometimes. The atmosphere and ambience was the 1920's-like since the hotel was a bank in the 20's so much of the historical architecture is preserved on the first couple of floors. There was no complimentary water. The fitness room hsd sealed up their water dispenser, so you would buy their $6 small bottle of water from their mini market. The only free water is at breakfast.If you have an event or business in downtown Columbus, this hotel was a decent stay with a helpful staff.
