Fun Arts Community

Not sure which was more space or great amenities

These hosts are great. The cabin is super spacious, well decorated and in a great location. Amenities included spacious backyard for our pups, record player with LPs, games and full size washer and dryer. Location is awesome

Delightful!

Comfortable, spacious house with ample off street parking. Easy walk to East Beach through pleasant neighborhood. Short walk to downtown Ocean Springs with great shopping and restaurants. Nicely decorated, cozy with lots of extras. Stayed 6 nights. We hope to return here. The owners respond very quickly to queries.

It’s location is perfect; close to the beach, close to night life if you’d like, close to everything but quiet enough to sleep well. Overall the property was nice, the inside not as clean as you would expect, the train directly across the street is loud, from midnight to 6 am train passed by 4 times. House is in good location with short distance from Ocean Springs downtown area.

Comfortable cottage

Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Light and airy with plenty of towels, sheets, blankets etc. You should be aware that train tracks are nearby, but we did not find that to be a problem. About a mile from the heart of downtown Ocean Springs. Lots of fun shopping and good food. We enjoyed the Walter Anderson museum very much. There are many interesting things to see and do in the area.

Weekend escape

We loved this place. Everything was perfect down to the last tiny detail. It was beautiful. The location was perfect. The train comes thru multiple times a day and night but it did not bother us. It was very spacious and we loved the fenced back yard. We plan on making this a monthly trip.

The cottage layout was great for our group of five. The kitchen had everything needed for meal prep and cooking. The shower had great water pressure. The front porch was plenty big for the kids to play on. Bed were very comfortable. The Roku had all of the popular streaming services. The cottage is a little out of walking distance from downtown for me and my wife (we're old), but the price was right. Highly recommend it!

Christmas break in ocean springs

Home was clean with many provided amenities. Clean bedding, well equipped kitchen, ample parking, and close to many local restaurants. An easy drive to casinos and beaches. Close to an active railroad track. Lots of shopping and eateries within walking distance. Nice fenced in backyard for a small pet but the fence does have a couple of small escape points. Would be a nice upgrade if there was a tv and dresser in the master. Great location for the Mississippi coast!

Roomy and incredibly clean cottage

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The cottage was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. The cottage is just how it’s pictured on VRBO. The rooms are huge and there is a nice large family/dining room open space. The location of the cottage was perfect for us. Restaurants, a grocery store, and beaches are 5 minutes away. Biloxi was less than 15 minutes. The host was very informative giving us a list of favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. There is a train that runs across the street but it was not bothersome and would not be a deterrent to rent this cottage again. This was a great place to stay in Ocean Springs.

Really nice house

Very clean, spacious cottage, close to downtown os and beach. Large parking, big plus for big trucks. Train does run alot at night, after the 1st night you get a little used to it. Owners forgot to send key code. Had to call after arrival for it, but it was good . Immediate response. Mistakes happen. We are all human. Great stay.

Seriously so cute and not too loud

This place is adorable! Pictures don’t do it justice on this app. The location is really nice and convenient, you are right next to food and stores. The train I noticed a few times. The first night it was really loud and ran 5-6 times. Second night I only heard it once! We brought our 6 month old, and the train didn’t wake him up at all. The back yard is big and completely fenced, great for animals and kids. It is perfectly priced, considering the noise!

Enjoyed our second visit to Ocean Springs. House Clean with large kitchen. Not well equipped for long visit. Living room seating comfortable and TV connection and WiFi good. *Dingy towels and wash clothes (white) *Floors showed many soft spots and felt unsafe. *Outside unkept and with very dirty siding. *Cats living under house and crying constantly *Fight broke out on street in front of house. *Trains going through to often so loud and viBrasted house 24/7 *Neighborhood surrounding questionable

Pleasant stay

The home was great. Two BRs and full-sized kitchen, bath, LR, and DR. Well stocked. Nice front porch with rockers. Great fenced-in back yard for dogs. Close to town, but not really "walking distance" (a mile?). Great dinner at Maison de Lu. Private. Quiet -- except for the freight trains that come 3-4 times a day (and occasionally at night) and blow their horns. If you are not used to being around trains, it might be a shock. We actually find the rumble and the road crossing signals (two long, one short and one long) quaint, even romantic. This home is in a town, not in the countryside, so expect more noise and lights. Ocean Springs itself is charming. Also, it's worth the short drive over the bridge to Biloxi. Visit the Katrina Memorial, the Visitors Center, Jefferson Davis' home on the far side - it sheds a different light on his role in the Civil War. Enjoy CS -- we did.

Ocean Springs get away

First of all the pictures on of the home on VRBO do not do it justice! The home is beautiful and very clean and welcoming. When we arrived, I was unable to get into the home because I believed the code wasn’t working. Found out that I’m an idiot and was entering the code wrong or something. I called the owner and they were there in less than an hour to get me in. Which actually worked out perfectly because we had to go shopping for food to cook while we were there. We did have an issue with the AC not working on the first night. I called and talked with the owner and they had the AC fixed that afternoon which was a surprise due to I can’t get that kind of service on my own home. The location of the home is perfect because you are so close to the down town shops and about 3 miles from the Casinos. I will recommend this home to my friends and family that may visit Ocean Springs MS. We had a great time visiting the Mississippi Gulfk Coast and enjoyed our little vacation.
