"We loved the Rio so much! We booked a Queen Room in the Masquerade tower and upgraded to a Strip view when we got there for $18/night. From our room we could see the Strip lights and the new football stadium. We ate at Luckley's and Guy Fieri's El Burro Borracho - the food was great at each and they both had Happy Hours. On our first night, we passed someone handing out 2 for 1 drinks at the Voodoo lounge -- so we checked that out too and had the best time!! We were also able to get a last minute discount on tickets for the Comedy show. One thing I would definitely recommend is to get the players card. We're not big gamblers, but we used it enough for about a $25 credit that we used for lunch on our last day, we actually won some money too -- which was so fun!. We did walk to the Palms and the Strip from the Rio and Area 15 was a quick uber ride away. The only caveat I have is that some of the offers that appear to be on their website -- either through the Resort fee or the Rewards card -- no one working at the hotel seemed to know about them ($5 margaritas at Guy Fieri's, etc). But we would stay at the Rio again in a heartbeat!"
