Private family home close to the beach, fishing and NAS

Peaceful and fully equipped 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom family home close to the Navy base, Perdido Key and Pensacola airport. Located within less than 10 minutes to fishing / boat docks and 15 minutes to Johnson beach / Perdido Key beach.

THE HOME
We finished this place for our own family beach vacations and included everything we would want when travelling with our kids. The house features a large master suite with a comfortable king size bed. The master suite is very private from the rest of the house while still having easy access to the other rooms. There are two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom on the other side of the living area.
The fully equipped large kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine (plenty of coffee included), modern appliances and is open to the dining area. There is an open office / game room area with a chalkboard to keep score, as well as games and some toys to make sure no one gets bored during your stay! We have provided entertainment for rainy days: adult and family board games, a scoreboard, a variety of toys and three smart TVs in the house. There is high-speed internet provided for anyone streaming or working.

Most of the house was recently renovated and will be sparkly clean upon arrival.
Enjoy warm summer days under the new patio structure with a roof and a charcoal grill. There is also a wood-burning fire pit in the back yard for roasting smores or to gather around on cooler days.

KID-FRIENDLY AMENITIES
Since we use this house for our own family beach vacations, we have included many features a family could want: kids shampoo and body wash, toys and books. We even have a slackline and a brand-new swing set (set up in 2023) in the yard that can be enjoyed at your own risk.
Upon request, we can provide (at no additional charge) some essentials for babies and young kids to enjoy during your stay: a portable bed with sheets, a potty seat, a high chair and a baby monitor.
We grew up in Pensacola, so we know the area well and can help you with any questions you may have!

THE LOCATION
Our home is in a quiet family-friendly neighborhood full of single-family homes. It is located very close to a boat ramp and within 15 minutes from Johnson beach and Perdido Key beach, which are famous for their bright wide sand. Near the beach, you will find plenty of great restaurants and bars.

HOUSE RULES
-No parties other than small family gatherings or small birthdays (maximum of 8 adults on the property at ANY time). You must let us know ahead of times if you are planning an event.
-No smoking inside the home or by the front / back doors or windows.
-All toys and entertainment, the slackline, the grill and all other potentially hazardous items are used at your own risk.
-If the grill is used, it has to be cleaned before you leave.

We have strict rules and extra fees for broken house rules. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan a late check-out, an event or if you would like to bring a pet, so we can find a good solution for everyone.

There are security cameras installed at the front and at the side gate of the home to monitor anyone entering or leaving. There are no cameras covering the back yard or inside the home to ensure your stay remains private.

Perfect home base!

This place was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! They had so many fun things to do for the kids while we weren’t out and about! I loved the private backyard and the home was so cozy! Definitely want to come back for another stay! The owners communicated with us for anything we needed and that was a huge plus! If you’re looking for a perfect family stay THIS IS IT!

Great vacation place!

We absolutely love this house and the hosts! We stayed here with our 8 year old son, 8 month old daughter and two friends of ours. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. There was a high chair, play pen, baby wipes and baby monitor left out for use to use for our daughter. Very easy check-in / check-out process. We were here for 5 days and had a blast!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Everything you need

House was clean and for once a place that had good pot's and pans. We didn't have to buy a skillet! Loved the split bedroom layout. The only thing was the yard was not mowed until 5 days after arrival. Everything was a drive, so be prepared for traffic and time to get there.

The Beaches are calling

Cleanliness: Overall, the house was clean & tidy when we checked in. Minor issues initially were promptly addressed by the owner upon request.or us, such as the master bathroom The house is nicely decorated, roomy, & the beds are super comfortable. There are some basic additions that would make the stay more comfortable; things like adequate lighting in the master bedroom and living area. The decorative bulbs in light fixtures look nice, but don't provide enough lighting, especially on overcast days & at night. We had to relocate a floor lamp from a bedroom to the living area so the room wouldn't be so dark. Charcoal grill is older and could use some attention. Communication: owners were extremely responsive to all inquiries Location: When we booked this house, we knew we would need to travel at least 15 minutes to get to most destinations. We were fine with that. What wasn't fine were the neighbor's dogs. Neighbors on both sides of the house appear to have two big dogs who barked relentlessly when we went into the back yard & for other seemingly random reasons throughout the day. They lunged at the fence & snarled at us as they watched us through the fence slats. Occasionally, we could slip into the backyard & the dogs didn't hear us, but most of the time, we put chairs in the front yard to sit so we didn't have to listen to the dogs. We realize this isn't the homeowners problem.

Great getaway

My family and I stayed for a week in this lovely house. It was a great location from all the beaches and stores. It was very clean and spacious and had a great play room for the kids. The host was amazing and if we needed anything he responded very quickly. Highly recommend

Live like a local

It was nice to be in a neighborhood, that is close to beaches and shopping without being in the middle of it. We drove to Perdido Beach, 15 min travel time and not a lot of traffic. The bedrooms were nicely placed to accommodate multiple family scenarios. Very well set up for children/toddlers. Play area, potty seat, and steps for them to use were most helpful! The house is spacious and clean. We would stay there again if the need arose.

Wonderful home away from the crowds

Exceptionally clean and very nice sized house. We didn’t even use one half of the whole house! Had everything we needed and the host was very responsive when we had an issue. The house was within about 45 minutes of everything that we wanted to do/see.

Great stay for a family with kiddos

We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice house to come back to after a full day of beach and activities. The host's recommendation for a beach close by was very nice. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We took a walk one morning and bought an original painting at one of the neighbor's yard sale. Recommended property.

Home away from home

I give this home and the wonderful owner 100 stars! House was clean, beautiful, and welcoming. Owner went above and beyond with the things provided. I was really impressed. The only bad thing about my stay was checking out. I didn’t want to leave.

Family Christmas vacation

Loved the home in a very quiet neighborhood. close to everything you need. Building a new Publix right down the road. Very close to NAS/Corry for Navy visits. House was nicely laid out and comfortable. Doors are a bit tight when humid, but nothing drastic. Would stay again. Thank you.

Wonderfully clean and quiet

The place was sparkling clean and the neighborhood quiet. We didn't have much down time here, as we came to visit our daughter, but we enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. We enjoyed Old Lagoon State Park, not far away, for a relaxing morning/afternoon. The only thing i would like to have had in that regard was directions, as we are of the older generation and do not have a smart phone - but we called our daughter who did.

We stayed here with our 2.5 year old, 7 month old and my parents and it was perfect! 15 minutes to everything. Very homie and peaceful and relaxing to be there. We greatly appreciated all child friendly activities and kitchen supplies. Was so welcoming to our kids that it made it so much more Enjoyable seeing them be able to play inside and outside with big smiles on their faces. Would definitely stay here again!
