Crescent Beach Tours

I was disappointed with my stay overall. While the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself did not meet my expectations for a Westin. The property felt very outdated and didn’t seem as clean as it should have been. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, the toilet worked on and off, and the first room I was given had a strong unpleasant smell. I also wasn’t given the room type I originally requested, so I had to go back to the lobby to have it corrected. Thankfully, they changed my room without any issues, and the second room did not have the odor. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was still a concern. The bedding had a stain and hair on it, so I had to request fresh sheets. The towels also looked worn, cheap, and dusty. Based on my experience, I’m not confident the linens are changed as thoroughly as they should be. One positive was the complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions, including the beach, which was very convenient. Overall, the friendly staff was the highlight of my stay, but the condition and cleanliness of the hotel fell well below my expectations. I would personally rate this as more of a 3-star hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

The staff was excellent! Our accommodations were very nice, very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips during our entire stay.

I loved the location. Check in was a little slow because there was only one person manning the desk and the phone was ringing. I was under the impression that I booked a 3 bedroom villa with an ocean view. When I got to my room, I was disappointed because there was no view. Apparently, if you book through Expedia you have to explicitly state your preference (ocean, marina, or city view). This was not my understanding and so I was disappointed because the room as expensive and the main reason I made the choice was for the view and proximity to the beach. I enjoyed being able to walk to the beach every morning to see the sunrise. The coffee bar was also a great amenity. The other negative aspect of my room was the loud noise the A/C made. It sounded like we were at an airport when the air kicked on. I loved that the hotel offered beach umbrellas, chairs, towels and beach toys. It really made the beach day so much more convenient, especially with 2 kids in tow. If I were ever to stay here again, I would ensure the room accommodations I book are actually the same as I receive. All things considered, I rate it 7/10.
