"I scoured reviews for the best bang for my buck, AND as a solo traveler, having 24/7 front desk staff on site was important to me. Hotel Wielopole checks ALL the boxes and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The premise is quaint; my room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and sufficient; the staff was friendly and helpful (check out their white board by the elevator with daily comments, the weather, reminders, and restaurant suggestions) and the location is in excellent walking proximity to the train station, main square, castle, and Jewish Quarter. I fell in love with Krakow and am grateful for my pleasant stay at this property! A few tips: -If you’re booking tours with transportation, the Wielopole 2 Kiss and Ride stop is right out the front door. -Indian Flame restaurant down the street is delish. -Save space in your luggage and don’t pack a hair dryer; the one provided in the bathroom is sufficient. -Green Nero Coffee next door is lovely."

"Great location and walking distance to shops, dining amd entertainment. Uniqueness of room with exposed beams. The only downside was that there were no windows in the room (on the 4th floor) just a skylight"

The hotel is in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town, just steps away from the Main Square and is surrounded by charming streets, historical landmarks, and vibrant cafés - yet it remains a peaceful and elegant retreat from the bustle outside. The hotel’s spa and wellness area is located beneath the historic building and is absolutely stunning - a true hidden gem. There are two adjoining pools, a sauna and steam room which create a tranquil atmosphere that feels wonderfully indulgent after a day of exploring the city. Our room was very spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed - a perfect balance between modern comfort and traditional charm. The furnishings and finishes were luxurious and warm - my only complaint would be not enough lighting. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed from maps and umbrellas to taxis and tours. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. Stary Hotel is the ideal choice for anyone wanting to experience Kraków in style and comfort.
