The staff were sick, coughing, sniffling. They were nice, but i dont like that people in charge of breakfast have wet mucous-y coughs.

Wow. Gable house was the most incredible place we have ever stayed. Such a beautiful property and the hosts were such amazing people!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could!!!

Communication and location of property was great, walkable. Loved Lolas diner next to it, and fridge in the room. And next to Steam works brewery. Check in and check out suoer easy. Parking lot easy to find. As someone with bad back the bed was not comfortable; made sleep difficult. This is a common complaint for most hotels I stay at. Floors were super squeaky; if me or my husband got up at night to bathroom would wake each other up. AC worked... but rooms were still hot and stuffy. Could hear my neighbors tv even though it wasnt very loud. For the price I would maybe consider staying else where. I was super impressed with the Rochester across the street or Strater. Love the solar panel theme; and the staff were super nice; for comfort this perhaps wasnt a win for me. I hate to say that I wanted to love this place so much.

Charming property in an excellent location for exploring historic downtown Durango. The hosts take great care to ensure guests are treated well and have an excellent experience.
