"The hotel itself is a little dated and has that old sanitorium like feel when you are inside but the price, location, and professionalism of the staff well made up for what the place lacked in “charm”. There are wild blackberry bushes right outside the front doors and a garden growing just off the back side. The room itself was incredibly large and way more than expected for a solo traveler on business. Everyone I encountered on the property was super friendly and helpful in navigating around the town. Food options were bountiful as you are close to the sub base and downtown area, ease of access to everything was an added bonus as well. "

"We stayed for my Bachelor trip and it was a very good location regarding the casinos which is what we mainly visited for. The house was awesome and the backyard and river access was a huge plus. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area near Foxwoods or Mohegan"

"The villa was lovely and very comfortable to stay when we were in town for a concert. Owner was in touch with instructions and support. Villa was clean and well stocked. I only wish we were there longer to enjoy the pool and walk the lovely grounds. This was our second time staying at this villa and would definitely stay again."
