“Palmer’s Guest House was clean, cozy, and perfect for two people to stay in. The rustic interiors were lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. Kristin was very accommodating and threw in a complimentary bottle of wine and a voucher to the restaurant. We had the Sunday Brunch and it was a great meal in a beautiful restaurant. We’ll be staying here again next time we’re in San Marcos.”

“Photos are deceiving. The futon had many old body oil spots. Dust in the livingroom. When we arrived, the grey bedding bedroom bedding was covered in body odor. Had to wash the bedding before use. White bedding had old stains on it. Patio area, table broken full of junk. The outdoor area/neighborhood is run down. Dishwasher foul odor. Over all dirty feeling and unsanitary. Needs a good deep clean. Bathroom shower head good. Keurig good. Nice large livingroom TV. Cute cats on the outdoor……

“The house itself was very rustic.There were both good and bad. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The place itself looked clean until you moved a piece of furniture and found trash underneath the couch. The yard guys came and cut the grass on the 2nd morning, which was needed. Just something that should have been done beforehand.I can say the check out was easy and pain free. Where the property fell short was in the communication. The first day the toilet, bathroom sink as well as the kitchen……

“This property should not be listed on VRBO. Our host prior to arrival very accommodating, we booked at 1030 pm night before arrival. Didn’t see a lot of details until after booked including 2 doors in front of a so called triplex and we should go to the green door, park on L of door which we pulled up in driveway to L which was somebody else’s drive apparently so pulled in front of home and we’re so confused to what was happening, other cars in driveway on R apparently that live in room……
