"The cottage is very well designed and comfortable. The location is not as desirable as it is situated near the road and pigs which makes sitting outside less appealing: there is a sour smell coming from the vegetable matter in the pig’s pen. That said once inside the cabin it is very charming. Even on very hot days the cabin cooled down at night. (No overhead fan in loft but small battery operated fans can be used). "The cottage was lovely; there was everything we needed. The gas fireplace was wonderful so nice for cool evenings. The kitchen had all the basics for fixing a meal; but being half way between Belfast and Camden you have some wonderful places to eat! Also both towns offer a wide variety or shopping opportunities (no large box stores here!). The rocky coast lines is lovely!"

"Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it."

"We had a great time catching up with relatives in the area while relaxing on the beach. The host were friendly & available to answer questions upon our arrival & during our stay. We really loved seeing the ducks & the loons on the lake. There were also a lot of Monarch butterflies on the beach daily which were beautiful. In the evening the moon shining on the water was an awesome way to end the day "

"Older inn, but we were looking for economy. Our room was very clean with lots of room to store for suitcases out of the way. Staff was helpful, friendly, and polite. The coffee was excellent. Standard breakfast fare for this type of motel (waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, packaged and fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, oatmeal, bagels.)"
