“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……

“This small, historic building was a refreshing change from all the corporate-owned lodgings. The staff were very friendly and helpful (including the two welcoming dogs who functioned as greeters). The winter salad and blueberry pie were phenomenal!”

“Pros and Cons both: The spacious room was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated - surprisingly so, with nice looking Federal style furniture - but the bathroom fixtures were extremely old (as in 1980s old), worn, and slightly grimy, but that could be because that is as clean as they can get at this age. The area is off the downtown and extremely quiet on the weeknight we were there, although it is next to a pub and a Casino. The gas wall mounted "Fireplace" is not in a lobby anyone……

“The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. I even have video of how loud it was. It’s also evident that the hotel is aware of the noise issue, as there are white noise machines already placed in the……

“Killed spider in web by bed. Bathroom floor was not clean. Hostess was so nice. Bed was comfy but cleanliness was not up to par.”

“Our host made check in simple and easy especially since we were unsure of arrival time. Lovely place, great breakfast and easy access of route 1 and nearby dining and activities, Belfast farmers markets and local restaurants were less than 15 minutes away. Would definitely stay again!”
