“For being an older motel, you can tell the owners really made it cute. My only suggestion would be more comfortable mattresses, but everything else was great! It had a cute older charm to it and that is what we were looking for. It was affordable and breakfast was nice. Good location. We stayed to catch the CAT ferry in Bar Harbor.”

“We planned an Aug '26 trip to Maine months in advance from Florida. Expedia or the rental Mgr requires a credit card to hold the room. Our schedule changed in May '26, so I cancelled the room. On Friday evening 8/7, we get a call from the Mgr wondering where we are. We relayed that we canceled the booking months ago. We were still charged for the nights' stay. This is a fraudulent charge & no way to run a business. Be careful if you have to use your cc to hold a room, then have to cancel.”

“The young lady checking us in was nice. The room was clean. They need to come and spray for spiders . I killed over 5 tiny spiders while staying there. Even one in the bed! Bathroom was small to me.”

“Great location, and Friendly staff but: Premises are not clean. Room carpet has not been professionally cleaned. Laundry room is a mess. Two machines, out of order with the room left dirty. Areas on premises that are supposed to be inaccessible to kids were left open and unattended posing safety risk to children. Restaurant was not functional.”

“The flower displays and fresh flowers in the room were very pretty. There was a strong dog smell in the room which would be fine for people traveling with a pet. The deck leading to the lawn and pool needs some work. My wife enjoyed her swim in the pool.”
