Amazing Condo at South Padre Island!

An amazing Condominium Located in South padre island. The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Four minute walk to the beach with parking under garage 1st floor and elevators. Various activities with in the complex: Gym, large pool, tennis courts, game room, jacuzzi, basketball court, soccer field, pergola with BBQ Pits and kids play ground. enjoy your stay and you will never forget this place.!

My family and I love this get away at the island because the complex has the best of both worlds its very save and private acquires multiple things to do if you want to stay in the perimeter or if you want to explore around the island everything is super close like the beautiful beach just a short walking distance away, shops and restaurants are walking distance from the condo like Italian food at "Gabriellas" or sushi "Konami" and the most famous of all "Louis back yard". South Padre island has a lot of activities to offer and at this location you'll be in the center of it.

Awesome stay
Check in was easy. Condo exactly as advertised. Beds were really comfortable. Basic house items were there. Small balcony to relax on outside. Had a toddler and besides having to pick up a couple of decorative items, there were no issues making it kid friendly. Loved the pool. Beach was literally 3-minute walk from our room. Just off the causeway so we got to avoid a lot of the holiday traffic. The office had us purchase wrist bands to use the pool and stuff when we checked in but there were different colored wrist bands in the condo. So definitely check with host beforehand to see if you really need to get new wrist bands.

Great location for a family!
Overall, we were pleased with our stay here. The pool and location are great ad we had no complaints. There were a few things about the unit itself that aren't ideal for families. First, there are no spots to hang towels anywhere in the unit. This is a problem after a day at the beach and nowhere to hang suits or towels to dry for the next day! While looking nice, the living room doesn't really offer a comfortable place to relax with the family and watch tv at the end of a day in the sun.

Second stay. Another great year!
This was our second stay with Pablo on South Padre Island. Everything in the pictures and description of this property are accurate. The fact that we came back from a two week stay last year and extended it to a three week stay this year should let you know what we think of the property. Everything is clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and well stocked, two nice bathrooms, two great bedrooms. The view from the balcony is awesome and relaxing. It is a very short walk to the beach which we also enjoyed. Access to the parking and the condo are easy with touchpad locks. No need to worry about losing your key on the beach! Secure, covered parking. Honestly, we love everything about this property and Pablo is an awesome host. Thank you for another great year, Pablo !

Wonderful first time visit to South Padre Island
We really enjoyed our trip to SPI. The location of the condo is wonderful, with a nice path to the beach. Pablo was great to work with. Upon our arrival there was an issue. Pablo contacted us within the hour and it was resolved. In addition he followed up the next day. As far as the actual unit, the living area is great and the porch is wonderful. As others have mentioned, and the pictures show, the kitchen is small. However, we were there for two weeks so we did cook frequently and we pretty much had what we needed. The bedrooms/closet space were good. We also used the grills regularly, they were nice covered grill spaces that were well light. The underground parking was appreciated on the day it rained. We would recommend this place and hope to stay again.

Came back to enjoy New Year’s on the island. The condo is clean, cheerful, & comfortable. It’s near the beach & close to restaurants & shops. Relaxing & a great holiday break. Took friends for their 1st visit to Padre Island. Always a comfortable place to stay.

The space and furnishings are good and towels were new. Why it’s not a 5 rated place: The facility charged $20 for wrist bands, mandatory and not advertised. We did not use the pool or any facilities so this is basically a parking charge. The WiFi is week, cuts out and doesn’t even reach the balcony. Sheets in 2nd bed room didn’t look clean. The flooring seam between the kitchen and dining is a significant trip hazard. Some bugs crawling and flying inside Toilet in large bathroom leaks between tank and base when flushed. Bathtub drain is slow. No ice maker or ice trays. No dish rags. No bathroom shower mats. Balcony door blinds need replaced. Big closets but no clothes hangers in the place. $5.75 per laundry load, quarters only. Complex is dated looking with repairs ongoing. Should communicate fees and our issues could all be easily cheaply remedied.

Great location!
The property is located right by the beach, took us maybe 5 min to walk to the ocean. The condo was clean and tidy. Well furnished with comfy beds. Definitely a bit smaller than the photos make it look, but fine for our family of 4. A few things to note: there were no hand towels of any kind in the kitchen or bathrooms and no paper towels or napkins provided and no sponges in the kitchen for dishes. Kinda weird and we had to make a Walmart run for those items. That was a first for us with a vrbo rental. Not a huge deal, just be aware and bring your own. Also, we were disappointed we were not told ahead of time that we had to pay an additional $20 per person to the complex. That was $80 we weren’t expecting. These aren’t major things, just would want to know before hand!

Great location, could use some help
The location was great, it was a good size for a beach condo. The condo was super cute, the beds were comfortable. The view from the balcony was great…BEAUTIFUL sunsets! The owner was awesome to work with as well…he was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed before we arrived. He provided suggestions on restaurants and things to do as well. Our biggest complaint was the mold and the public areas of the property. As soon as you walk into the condo you are overwhelmed with the smell of mold and mildew. Understanding this property is near the beach we looked past it at first, then after a few days we noticed how bad the mold in the TINY primary shower was, and the large spot of mold on the ceiling in the bedroom. The ventilation in the primary shower/toilet room needs to be overhauled. The toilet in the shared hall bath was leaking. As for the common areas of the property, they could definitely use some updating and a good cleaning. Knowing that this property was a little older and the harsh environment of the beach we were able to look past a lot of the cosmetic issues, the pool was the worst, they have missing tiles and mold/mildew growing in the missing spots. Overall, if the above mentioned things were fixed we’d stay here in a heartbeat again. It’s hard for me to say the negative things about the property but keeping our young child in a moldy room, we just can’t do again. And until the pool is fixed I do not want him swimming in there again.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the island!! It's walking distance to the beach. And there is a place called Seaside Bar and Grill that had great food and drinks right on the beach. There was a lady singing live music that we all enjoyed too one night! Pablo checked and made sure we got in ok and made sure we had everything. I would recommend!

Nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable family condo
As a family of five, we are always looking for a location that can accomodate us while allowing us to be comfortable on vacation. The condo was just the right size and was very well kept. The interior has been updated and it is well furnished. The family always enjoyed returning to the condo after a day of activities. Highly recommended. The host was great and stayed in touch as needed.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Just a short drive to all our planned activities and the 2 min walk to the beach was perfect! The complex is a bit run down and you have to pay $10/person for a wristband to use the amenities. The gym and game area closes at 5pm. The pool area was great and definitely worth the cost to use. If you want fabulous customer service look no further than Pablo. He was amazing, made sure we got checked in okay and followed up with a few tidbits of info. The condo worked for our family of 4, but the kitchen could use a little help. Food still stuck on pots/pan/utensils, and the toaster started smoking when we tried to use it. We ended up eating out a lot which was okay because there are a ton of amazing restaurants nearby. I highly suggest Sea Ranch. Overall we had a fantastic trip.

This property is exactly as pictured and described! We will DEFINITELY be back the next time we decide to go down south. It has been saved as a favorite so we can have this amazing place locked down! There’s a private walk to the beach from the property, there’s outdoor showers for as soon as you walk back in the gates from the beach, the pool was awesome, condo was perfectly roomy and super comfy…. I can’t say enough about this condo! Our Host Pablo was very easy to communicate with and answered quickly to any questions we had! It was truly a home away from home. Thanks so much for having us!!

Good cozy comfortable place
Great house, the location is perfect with a private short distance to the beach. Also have access to a bar when heading towards the beach which was nice. The house it self was very clean and cozy. We tried to make breakfast and lunch with their pans but the pans need updating all of them had the food stuck and was hard to wash off. Be aware you need to pay for bracelets to be in the property and use the pool which is not disclosed ($10/ bracelet - everyone over 5 years old is required one per the front desk) Overall we were satisfied with the stay and would book again if the opportunity arises.

Stop Scrolling. This is the Place!
This was our first time booking on VRBO and our first visit to South Padre Island. We feel like we won the lottery with our choice. Pablo was a wonderful host. He began communicating several weeks before our stay to prepare us for our visit. He provided access codes for the parking and the condo ahead of our arrival as well as passwords for the Wi-Fi. He replied promptly and in a very friendly manner to all of our inbox messages on the app. To know what the room and property are like, look at the pictures and description provided. They are all very accurate and representative of the property. It was just the two of us in the property so we just used the bedroom with the king bed. It was very comfortable. There are three large flatscreen TVs in the unit, One in each bedroom and one in the living area. They are modern Roku TVs and they worked well. The bbq pits (grills) were nice as well. We cooked steaks, chops and burgers several times and enjoyed hanging out around the bbq and the common area/courtyard. The pool area was very nice as well as the hot tub. The gym and pool tables looked nice, but we honestly only saw them through the windows of the club building, we didn’t use them. Everything in the unit it worked as expected. The kitchen was great. We used the stove, the oven, the microwave as well as the toaster, coffeemaker (regular drip machine with a 10 or 12 cup pot) and the dishwasher. The sink was a spacious two basin stainless sink with a garbage disposal. The bathrooms worked well. The small bathroom in the king room bedroom is very efficient with no wasted space, and the shower is nice. There is a large counter with a nice large mirror, good lighting and a sink just outside the bathroom door. The full bath in the hallway was nice. Full sized tub with a shower and another well lit good sized counter. The water was hot and water pressure and flow in both baths was good. It is a short walk to the gulf side of the island with a great beach that you can wander up and down without private beach restrictions keeping you from enjoying a long walk. Be sure to stop for a drink at the Seaside as you come and go from the beach. As the pictures show, you can see the bay side of the island from the balcony of the unit and we ended up enjoying a lot of time there. To summarize, this is a great place with a great host and no disappointments. Thanks, Pablo!
