“We could only get wifi in the bar; no use of our phones in our room. The shower is a hand held in a big tub. Water pressure could be stronger. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast which was included. We also had a delicious dinner in their restaurant. Lovely views of the lake if you book a room on that side of the building.”

“What a treat to stay at this hotel! Sitting in the indoor hot tub with the views across the loch was magical and something I won’t forget. “This hotel has no person on site. There is a lock box and you will get an email with instructions. I had to phone when I did not get an email ( probably because of a new email address); House was very quiet. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a lake view. But the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests and there was a used sanitary napkin there. Also the blanket in the closet was in a jumble making me think it had been used but not cleaned or folded. It made me uncomfortable……

“Nice character hotel for our overnight stay during our highlands trip. Clean and spacious on the main floor with nice bar and dining rooms. We used the dining room for an excellent buffet breakfast.”

“The hotel itself was okay, but I would recommend paying close attention to the check-in process before arrival. The keys and check-in are handled in a different building, which is not particularly close, so you need to drive there first, collect the keys, and then drive back to the accommodation. This took quite a lot of time and was not very convenient, especially after a long journey. To be fair, the hotel had mentioned this in advance, but I missed that information, so we only realised the……

“As a bikepacker, I arrived at the Kilmartin hotel with my bike and bags after a long day riding off-road. The room was excellent. All the facilities I need. The staff was very kind and helpful. The local pub in this beautiful and ancient town was situated in the hotel itself. Perfect for having a well deserved pint! Restaurant was excellent! Same goes for breakfast in the morning.”
